If you look at a rose up close, you will start to notice all the little imperfections. A misshapen petal, a water stain here, maybe some browning on the edges, a miniscule hole where an insect previously dined, and tiny, sharp thorns that sometimes seem to come out of nowhere. We can pick it apart and find its flaws, but those little things are what make each one unique. There is no such thing as a perfect rose. Yet every rose is beautiful, not despite its imperfections, but because of them.
